Hair Loss Shampoo
When my scalp is feeling itchy, my first thing to blame is my shampoo doesn’t suite me well. The next step, I ask my sister or my mom to check out my scalp to find any white particles. I change my mild natural daily shampoo to a shampoo that has powerful anti fungal or zinc inside it.
My habit was wrong!
HairLoss in the size of my thumb forced me to seek trichologist help. According to her, shampoo is needed to clean your scalp. A natural hair care (shampoo) will give the best result (according to my therapist) because when your scalp is irritated or not in normal condition, any chemical substances will make it worse.
Well, I did want to cure my baldness, and for that I have to do what my trichologist suggested.
Here are some advises from my therapist to choose hair shampoo:
1. We can wash our hair daily using a mild shampoo to keep our scalp clean and get no irritation. Natural shampoo is recommended. It's much better than washing your hair every two or three days with powerful antidandruff shampoo in a long term.
2. Antidandruff shampoo that's being used in a long term can cause scalp dryness and that'll make the dry skin falls as a white particles. I was advised to shampoo daily with natural shampoo and if I want to use antidandruff shampoo, it should be done only twice a week between normal shampoos. Don't forget, some natural shampoos also have strong extract. Usually, the manufacturer tells us about if the shampoo is mild enough to be use daily.
3. A shampoo ad can be confusing. A cheap and expensive shampoo can be claimed with almost the same advantages. Pay attention to the ingredients in a shampoo container. An extract and an essence has a big different! Extracts are made from natural sources with active ingredients. They are more expensive (absolutely) and we can expect good result from natural extract. Essences are just the same smell. I don't know whether essences will give the same result as extracts. The more extracts in a shampoo make the price rising.
4. Shampoo is used for cleaning your hair. Conditioner is used to glue thin layer on your hair. To maximize the effect, use conditioner separately (not 2in1) and only on your hair, not the scalp. Improperly cleaned conditioner can accumulate in your scalp then make itchy feeling.
