How Hair Grow | Female Hair Loss Cause |

Causes Of Female Hair Loss

how hair grow-it's actually the point. because some factors that inhibit or interfere with how hair grow will cause hair loss.

Some common factor that induce hair loss in woman are:

Stress

The “stress” here means something traumatic like giving birth, lack of nutrition, some severe infection or a major surgery. It may lead the hair in Anagen (growing) phase into Telogen(shedding) phase.

Telogen is a phase when your hairs stop growing and fall off. It happens between 6 weeks to three months after the stressful events.

Hormonal imbalance

It involves the balance of male and female hormones in our body. Dihydrotestosteron (DHT)-a derivative of male hormone testosterone-is dangerous to hair growth when it bonds with enzyme 5-alpha reductase in hair follicle’s oil gland. The binding will make hair follicles shrink.

Androgenetic alopecia in women appears as diffuse thinning on all areas of the scalp. It has something cause by androgen (the male hormone) actions. Using birth control pill, pregnancy or menopause can cause imbalance.

Pregnancy.

It's Hormone again. Estrogen level remains high when the baby is still inside the womb. After baby birth, it will drop and some hair starts to fall. It’s reversible for some women and unfortunately I also know a woman who is not.So, pregnancy involves changes in hormone, and that cause for some female hair loss.

Diet and nutritional habit changes.

Woman nature is to look beautiful. Now, slim figure is beautiful. The simplest and cheapest way to reduce weight is cut off daily consumption. Well, may be it works a while but then it will effect your body because some vitamins and minerals also being reduce.

Anaemia.

Anaemia is a decrease in the ability of blood to carry oxygen due to reduction number of red blood cell or in the ammount of haemoglobin (pigment that binds to oxygen) they contain. Iron influence haemoglobin. Lack of Iron (Fe ion) can cause hair fall because Iron is something needed in the hair cycle process. For a precise conclusion, a blood test should be done.

Disease

Disease such as hepatic disease can cause hair loss. Chemotherapy also causes hair loss because chemotherapy destroys dividing cells. Cancers cells divide rapidly, so do hair follicles cells. This hair fall is called Anagen effluvium. The characteristic in this kind of hair fall is the narrowed hair shafts.

Woman hair loss has many factors. Asking a doctor is recommended. To diagnose allopecia accurately need blood test and clinical history. The blood test includes hormone level, serum iron, serum ferritin, TIBC ( Total Iron Binding Capacity) TSH, VDRL and complete blood count.
